Our goal is to support a healthy pregnancy and birth. If necessary, we may recommend adjustments to your birth plan, including referrals or planning a hospital birth for optimal safety.Schedule of Visits:
Monthly office visits until 32 weeks.

Weekly office visits from 38 weeks until delivery.

Most appointments are scheduled for 30 minutes, except for:

These exceptions typically last an hour to allow for a more in-depth discussion and care.

During Labor
Our midwives join you in active labor (typically around 6 cm dilation) and provide continuous support and clinical monitoring throughout the birth. Timing may vary depending on your labor pattern and birth history.
Before You Leave
Following the birth, we remain with you for approximately 2–3 hours postpartum to monitor both parent and baby, support feeding, complete newborn assessments, and ensure everyone is stable and comfortable before you leave.
Our goal is steady, attentive care in a calm and supportive environment.

Our postpartum and newborn care provides attentive follow-up and thoughtful support during the early weeks after birth.

We order and help schedule all necessary labs and diagnostic ultrasounds as part of your care. However, like many small practices, we do not perform these services in-house. Instead, they will be completed at a local lab (ex: LabCorp or Quest) or imaging facility (ex: Inner Vision, Premier Radiology, The Perinatal Group, or Maternal-Fetal Medicine Specialists of Tennessee) .
Since these services are provided by another facility, you will be billed directly by them for their services.
If you have any questions about where to go or how to schedule, we’re happy to help!
