After having two hospital births where I tore both times, my home birth was everything I wanted it to be and was the easiest and quickest recovery because I listened to my body (didn’t tear at all!). If you are on the fence at all, please don’t be worried about putting your confidence here. They work with you, support you, inform you well, and make sure you and baby are safe. I am now 10 months postpartum, and still think back to my birthing experience as a wonderful time.
